Middleware Application Infrastructure Specialist: Installed, upgraded and supported client middleware web applications on UNIX platforms. Consultant and application support lead for webMethods, an application that interfaces partners, customer and business users to the companies SAP, Siebel, ACES, Clarify and other back-end systems. Automated process that generated Process Improvement. Project managed utilizing Microsoft Project.
Business Analyst and Technical Lead for Business Enablement Team: Gather requirements and developed technical specification documentation. Designed and built Oracle databases with DBA assistance to support applications and interface with corporate systems. Presented and demonstrated customer solutions.
Project Manager R&D / Infrastructure for Web Central: Requirements gathering from internal departments. Researched and evaluated solutions based off requirements and future potential. Manager Web Central: Designed and supported StorageTek corporate and channel web sites. Project Leader: Created the first Marketing Sales Support Group team to classify sales support information for database development. Designed codes and reference guide to enable the sales team to build a strong worldwide sales support database. Handled internal and external customer support between marketing, sales and technical teams.
World Wide Technical Support: Supported worldwide field support personnel and customers with solutions for technical problems encountered with the use of StorageTek tape or disk storage products. Troubleshoot problems using phone support or remote diagnostics equipment.
Territory Technical Support Supervisor: Installed, maintained and repaired customers automated tape library storage, disk storage, and printer devices. Managed field technical support to keep customers StorageTek equipment running at peak performance.
Computer Operation Shift Supervisor: Supervised and operated data processing center that processed all accounting and payroll for Teledyne Inc.
Military: Staff Sergeant, United States Air Force. Held multiple responsibilities and roles, including Computer Operator, Production Controller, and Supervisor. Held Top Secret Clearance during several tours including 15th Air Force, Strategic Air Command (SAC) and Sunnyvale AFS Satellite Tracking.
